Empty breasts with some sag but not enough to need a breast lift. A “lifting” type effect can be obtained by using a higher profile implant. This is explained by the “bucket handle effect”. Think of an empty plastic bucket with the handle down at the side. If you squeeze the bucket towards the handle the handle will rise. The more you squeeze it the more the handle rises. Therefore a higher profile or more “sticky out” will cause more of a lifting effect. This effect is best in lighter breasts. Placing the very high profile implant under the muscle avoids excessive roundness at the top of the breast.
