Patient 1

Big gap becomes natural cleavage – 270cc low profile, shaped, P-URE foam covered silicone gel implants

A very natural, believable look was desired. The patient has limited tissue coverage and widely spaced nipples. If round implants were used too big a gap would occur with proportionately sized implants and too fake a look would occur if the round implants were large enough to close the gap. The solution was a low profile shaped implant that was wider than it was tall to selectively close the gap without looking fake. Placement was under the muscle to minimise any edge effects. Polyurethane foam is not only dramatically safer in reducing the risk of capsular contraction, it also minimises the risk of rotation when shaped implants are used because it forms a stable bond with the patient’s own tissues.
